Andrea, Neuroscience PhD student, pictured here at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland. I volunteer at the animal shelter on the weekends and also take belly dance and ballroom dance lessons most nights out of the week - if I’m not running an experiment in lab.

Hi, my name is Lisa, and this is a picture of me with some of my fellow lab members. We study addiction at a behavioral neuropharmacology and neuroimaging lab at Brookhaven National Laboratory. This photo was taken of us on the beaches of Coronado Island, off the coast of San Diego, where we presented our work at the Neuroscience conference.
I’m Haseeb (or my Tumblr alias - Captain-Nitrogen). Honours student (so technically not an actual scientist…. but close enough, right?) of Neuroscience with Biochemistry. Currently under the supervision of Doctor Angus Brown, investigating the neuroprotective effects of hypothermia on central white matter. This picture was taken at a Rise Against gig. ‘Cause Rise Against are freakin awesome.
I’m the one in the hat if you’re wondering.
‘cause hats are also awesome.

My name is Jordan and I’m working on my Ph.D. in Neuroscience! When I’m not in class/lab/the library, I’m probably at the gym indoor rowing and lifting. I blog about neuroscience at www.GainesOnBrains.com
