Nikisha Hunter is a Senior Research Chemist with L’Oreal USA and has over 10 years of experience in developing hair care products primarily for women of color. Nikisha holds a B.S. in  Chemistry as well as an MBA in General Management. She has been inducted into the Golden Key National Honors Society and Beta Kappa Chi Scientific Honors Society and was awarded the Society of Cosmetic Chemists Young Scientist Award . Nikisha is an inventor on several patents, and often speaks to students on alternative careers in the STEM (science, technology and mathematics) fields. Nikisha holds membership in several professional and civic organizations, including the National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers (NOBCCHE), Society of Cosmetic Chemists, Association for Women in Science, Toastmasters, International and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
